Finally moved Hubert to a bigger cup! (Yes, I’m aware it’s something from prom, but I honestly never used it and probably never will except for this.) I noticed as I was moving him that the chrysalis IS, in fact, fully developed and that there is simply something hanging off of the chrysalis. It sort of looks like the head or the other end of Hubert’s original body, which I assume means he doesn’t need that anymore. After all, he will be completely transformed when he wakes up. Perhaps my thoughts of him being dead were simply me overthinking, which happens a lot. I’m still a little worried though because his lid from his previous cup – which he needs to hang from – is not completely balanced. I’m afraid of adjusting it because I don’t want him to fall! Hang tight, Hubert! You’ve been in this state for about a week now. You’ll be born anew soon!
